About 15 years ago, the Mid Saturday golf school had a 3 day golf weekend in Bournemouth , which of course included a couple of nights in the local bars. On the second night, we came across a bar / club which looked quite lively but was charging an admission fee. Most of us were dressed smart/casual , but of course Michael was wearing shirt and tie and a green blazer with a club crest.

We all paid our enty fee , but when it came to Mike’s turn we said to the doorman that we were on tour and Mike was the coach driver and he was there under protest. He got in for nothing !!

the only man I know who would have steak and chips in an Indian restaurant !!!
